Both bottlings celebrate local traditions - such as brewing craft beer in Portland. The distillers expand their single malt for an additional year of maturation in former stout casks . Also typical of the region: the cultivation of wine, especially the Pinot Noir grape variety. Westward's single malt unfolds intense fruity notes during a two-year finish in French oak wine casks that previously held Pinot Noir .

Tasting Notes:

Intense and robust with notes of roasted cereals and stone fruit as well as roasted pecans and milk chocolate. Powerful and dry aftertaste.
