The three-year Vermont oak finish gives the whiskey the time it needs to develop its aromas far into the depths. At 92 proof (46% ABV), this whiskey is expressive and wiser than its old years.

Vermont oak casks are at the heart of this whiskey's flavor profile. Vermont's cold winters and short growing season cause trees to develop dense growth rings. This dense grain gives the rye its flavor layer by layer as it ripens. The charring and toasting of the wood by Master Distiller Dave Pickerell give the casks their special character.
