This straw colored whiskey has a beautiful balance of lemon meringue cake, vanilla ice cream and gentle Islay peat smoke on the nose .
On the palate , the soft, creamy citrus fruit continues and is then slowly overtaken by leathery, ashy notes and a charming incense/sandalwood quality.
The finish is long, complex and enchants with its interplay of smooth smoke and fruity notes.
