It's been a while - the last time whiskey was distilled in Thurso Alfred Nobel had just invented dynamite... "Reawakening the spirit of Scotland's rugged north shore" - there was a distillery on the same site from 1821 until the 1860s Called. They also share the water source, the Wolfburn. Today's Wolfburn Distillery is the most northerly in mainland Scotland and has been in operation since 2013. Traditional production meets modern know-how. Distillery Manager Shane Fraser brings over 25 years of experience and distils a typical Northern Highland Single Malt. Welcome with us the first whiskey from this young and independent distillery.
