The Nose: Dry spirits and stunning pear drops come to the fore before settling down to sweet oak and hints of Oloroso sherry.

Palate: Delicate oak that immediately transitions into rich chocolate and vanilla, with an undefinable floral note hiding behind the vanilla. A hint of salty peanuts. A smooth feeling almost like a fizz that awakens the senses, it's playful and fun.

Finish: A complex and lingering finish. The beginning is short but wonderfully powerful with spices, pepper and liquorice and bitter oak. Honey and spice linger after all else has faded before drifting away too, allowing for a brief but powerful resurgence of liquorice, gentian and honey.
