Consisting of 70% rum from El Salvador that has matured for six years and 30% Jamaican blends, the "Ron Colon Salvadoreno High Proof Dark Aged Rum " is bottled with an alcohol content of 55.5%. It is made from 100% molasses and is neither sweetened with sugar nor colored with coloring agents. Ron Colon Salvadoreno High Proof unfolds in the smell with notes of tropical fruits, as well as bananas and pineapple. These are joined by the scents of dried fruits in the form of raisins and plums. On the palate, the above notes are found again and are complemented by warm roasted caramel notes and creamy milk chocolate.
