Domaine Tariquet VSOP Grape Variety: Ugni White 60% Baco 40%
Characteristics: The youngest of the eaux-de-vie that composes this blend of typical varieties of Bas-Armagnac, aged in oak barrels in our cellars for at least 7 years Tasting Notes: Very Superior Old Pale - VSOP Beautiful amber colour. Powerful plum nose, lots of fullness and concentration, aroma of hot bread with hints of toast and gingerbread. Aeration releases beautiful aromas of baker's oven, ranchi and candied fruit. The palate is smooth, round, almost over the top, no sense of alcohol, the woody is there: nice and vanilla.
The finish blossoms with a return of macerated stone fruit.
In Gascony, between the Pyrenees and the Atlantic, there is a unique place. A place where wine has its origins: the Domaine Tariquet. The potential of this exceptional winery, family-run since 1912, has been increased with each generation: first they produced various great Bas-Armagnacs, then they planted unusual grape varieties and created surprising white wines.
The main goal has always been to respect nature and produce authentic and quality products. The Domaine Tariquet has been known for its high-quality Armagnacs - after all, the oldest French spirit - since 1912. These are stored and matured in the domaine's wine cellars and are also bottled there.
The family property with 100% own vineyards stands for the complete processing of the wine, distillation, storage and enveloping. The Domaine Tariquet thus guarantees the authenticity and absolute quality of its products.
